Our Consent-First Promise

1. Consent, personally and always.

We do not run drills for anyone who has not personally and knowingly consented via every channel in which they receive drills. They know drills will come; they just don't know when, and that's what makes practice honest. Enrollment can be withdrawn any time, instantly.

2. Gentle by design.

Drills never involve real money, real risk, or real consequences. Coaching moments are brief, warm, and private. We never use fear, shame, or “gotcha” language. It’s not the right thing to do, and research is clear that it backfires.

3. Right-fit enrollment.

ScamPrep is designed for adults who manage their own email and phone. It is not appropriate for people with significant cognitive impairment, and each person decides for themselves whether to take part. We never assess memory or health. If practice ever feels confusing or upsetting, we pause right away and follow up the same day.

4. Each person picks their channels.

Each recipient chooses email, text, phone calls, or any mix, and can turn any of them off at any time. Practice texts and calls happen only with prior express written consent, given electronically, following the consent standard in federal telemarketing law (TCPA).

5. Data minimalism.

We collect only what drills require (name, contact channels, drill history). We never access bank accounts, credit reports, or financial data. We never sell personal data.

6. Coaching when someone engages.

If someone clicks, replies, or answers, we explain right away that it was a ScamPrep drill and offer a specific, usable lesson. Drills someone doesn't fall for show up as wins in their Resilience Report, and anyone who wonders whether a message was ours can ask and get a straight answer.
